Clone Projects

If the checkbox is ticked then all of the linked Project for the selected source Model will cloned cross to the new target Model.
Please note, unticking this “Clone Projects” checkbox will untick all of the other checkboxes as they’re all reliant on having a Project.

If this checkbox is ticked the Assets configured under each Project that’s linked to the selected source Model will also be cloned into each newly cloned Project.

Clone Financial Groups

If this checkbox is ticked the Financial Groups configured for each Project that’s linked to the selected source Model will be cloned into each newly cloned Project.

Click on the “Clone” button to proceed with cloning the Model.

A new model has been created from the cloning process.

Cloning a Model can take a while dependant on how many Projects, assets and Appraisals the Model is linked to - please be patient.

Editing a Model

Editing an unlocked Model is as simple as clicking on the cell you want to edit and start typing.

Only unlocked Models can be edited. Locked Models are locked to prevent changes to the Model or any linked Projects.

Models can be unlocked with the correct permission.

Locking a Model will lock itself and any linked Projects, meaning no further changes can be made.

Multiple fields can be edited across the whole grid should a lot of changes be required.

The columns “Has Locked Projects” and “Has Locked Appraisals” can’t be edited they’re read-only and indicate whether or not the Model has any Locked Projects or Appraisals.

When you’ve finished editing ensure the “Save Changes” button is clicked to saved the amendments back to the database.

Deleting a Model

Deleting a Model will permanently remove it from the database!

Deleting a model WILL delete any linked Projects, Project Assets and Appraisals - extreme caution should be taken!

Only unlocked Models can be deleted. If the Model you want to delete is locked you will need a permission to unlock the Model.

Locked Models are locked if the “Locked” column is ticked (see below). The locked Model will have a greyed out appearance within the grid.

Choose the unlocked Model you want to delete by clicking on the trash can button adjacent to the row you want to remove.

The trash can button will be replaced with an undo button should you not want to delete the row.

If you’re still intent on deleting the highlighted row click on the “Save Changes” button in the toolbar.

The application will check to see if the Model being deleted has any linked Projects and Appraisals. If any are found they will displayed in the following delete confirmation dialogue:

If you’re 100% certain you want to delete the Model and linked Projects and Appraisals then click on the “Yes” button, otherwise click on the “No” button.

Drilldown into a Model

Any Model locked or unlocked can be drilled into by selecting the radio button on the row and then clicking on the “Drilldown” button.

This will take you to the Model Drilldown screen. You can find out more information about Model Drilldown here.
