Appraisal Financial Groups

The Appraisal Financial Groups tab allows users to override Appraisal Financial Groups for use within the Appraisal Module of Asprey Assets.

Permissions are required to manage Appraisal Financial Groups.

Please speak to your internal administrator to enable the following permissions:

  • AA_Appraisal_Appraisals_Financial_Groups

  • AA_Appraisal_Appraisals_Financial_Groups_Create

  • AA_Appraisal_Appraisals_Financial_Groups_Update

  • AA_Appraisal_Appraisals_Financial_Groups_Delete

Overriding an Appraisal Financial Group

Click on the “Financial Groups” tab on the Appraisals Drilldown screen.

This will display a grid of Appraisal Financial Groups (see below). The grid inherits it’s groups from the parent Project however the values for each group can be overridden.

Click on the cell in the grid you want to edit and start typing.

Only non Baseline cells can be edited. To update a Baseline cell you would need to amend at the parent Project level in the Project Financial Groups tab.

Making changes to any cells within a group row will change the background colour depending on whether the edited cell is higher or lower than it’s baseline equivalent.

If the overridden value is higher than it’s baseline equivalent the cell background will turn pink.

If the overridden value is lower than it’s baseline equivalent the cell background will turn green.

Click on the “Save Changes” button to persist the changes to the database.

Unsaved changes to the grid can be undone by clicking on the “Discard Changes” button.

Multiple cells can be edited across the whole grid should a lot of changes need to be made.

When you completed your changes click on the “Save Changes” button to persist the amendments to the database.

Resetting Overridden Appraisal Financial Groups

Resetting Appraisal Financial Groups will remove the overridden values permanently from the database!

The Baseline values won’t be erased as they’re stored at the parent Project level.

The only way to completely delete an Appraisal Financial Group is to remove the corresponding row in the Project Financial Groups tab.

Tick the checkboxes in the rows you want to reset or click on the checkbox in the header of the grid to select all.

Clicking on the “Reset” button will ask you to confirm if you want to reset the groups. Click “Yes” to proceed and reset the selected groups or “No” if you have second thoughts.

The previously selected rows will now be reset to their original values which will be the same as the corresponding baseline values. The cell background will return to normal to indicate the value and it’s baseline equivalent are identical again..
