Warranties

The warranties section is accessed through the planned tab in Asprey Contracts once a project has been selected from the Project Centre.

Within the warranties section, users can track defects and warranties that may be related to the repair(s) within the project.

Defects

The Defects section of the Warranties tab shows the Defect Liability Period (DLP) and Practical Completion Start Date for the chosen programme of works. The Contractor information is driven from the contractor linked to the project.

Warranties

The Warranties section shows the warranty period and start date for a given component within a particular programme of works.

Select the component in the drop-down list to view all the properties with that component completed.

Warranties can only be added to completed works, therefore if the asset does not appear in the list, it has not been marked as complete. See the section on Works for details of this.

Then select the assets and enter the Warranty Start Date for those assets. If Manufacturers have been configured within the system, this can be selected from the Manufacturer drop down.

Once configured, click “save” to store the warranty information.
