Configure Classification Groups
Classification Groups can be configured through the Classification Groups screen.
Classification Groups are used to inform all areas of Asprey Assets which utilise Classification Groups, therefore, if a Classification Group does not appear on this screen, it cannot be used by the application.
You will require the following permissions to access and edit this area.
AA_Configuration_Analysis_Classes_Group_Create
AA_Configuration_Analysis_Classes_Group_Delete
AA_Configuration_Analysis_Classes_Group_Update
AA_Configuration_Analysis_Classes_Group_View
Please speak to your internal administrator to grant the relevant permissions.
Creating a Classification Group
To add a new Classification Group, click the “Add a Row” button located at the top left-hand side of the Classification Group page.
A new row will appear at the top of the Classification Group Grid. Enter the details of the new Classification Group here.
When the required data has been entered, click the on “Save Changes” button to save the new row.
Editing a Classification Group
To edit an existing Classification Group, select the row you wish to edit and then select the field to be edited and overwrite the existing data. When all of the changes have been made to the relevant columns, click the “Save Changes” button.
If you want to undo any of the unsaved changes, click on the “Discard Changes” button.
Deleting a Classification Group
Deleting a Classification Group will permanently remove it from the database! You won’t be permitted to delete a Classification Group if it is currently in use by any Classifications in the application.
To delete an existing Classification Group click on the trash can button in the row of the Classification Group you wish to delete from Asprey Assets.
This will then update the screen to show an “undo” arrow in place of the trash can and the save changes/discard changes button are illuminated indicating a change has been made on the screen.
To confirm the deletion, click the “Save Changes” button.
